Introduction: the article analyzes the issues of developing the technological competence of future primary school teachers based on the methodology of teaching the "technology" science. technology education serves as a crucial foundation for shaping the creative and practical skills of students in primary education. Objective: to research the methodological foundations for developing the technological competence of future teachers and to demonstrate ways to increase the efficiency of this process in higher education. Materials and Methods: the study utilized methods of methodological analysis, modeling the structural components of technological competence, and pedagogical observation. Results and Discussion: research findings indicate that the methodology of teaching technology enhances the professional skills of students during higher education. the main components of technological competence were identified, and interactive methods for their development were reviewed. Conclusion: the systematic development of technological competence in future primary school teachers ensures their effective use of innovative educational technologies in their future pedagogical activities.
